Transform Heartminds was founded by Carmen Teo, EdD, a dedicated practitioner in wisdom traditions for almost twenty years, and a senior mindfulness teacher in the contemporary mindfulness setting. It has expanded to like-minded practitioners. We are founded on compassion, service, equity, to serve humanity. We believe that each individual can access their innate wisdom and foster genuine kindness, compassion for self, with one another, contributing to a kind, inclusive and peaceful world.

Who we are? Our approach

“Self-compassion was a new concept to me and I was one of those that had to learn it. Each week, the facilitators would introduce new practices and try them out with the class. There were suggested home practices as well. I like that the course gave me many different tools and guiding languages to cultivate self-compassion. It was initially awkward to be kind and gentle to myself, but it got better over time. While it was after all a self-discovery journey, I had also learned much from the facilitators and classmates who had voluntarily shared about their own practice preferences, tips, and struggles during class. Thank you once again for making available this valuable course!”
